Hello, Snizhaba,
Oh, bother! It is not even “winds-day” any longer. But things are still being driven about. This is a hard one. Now let me “think, think, think.”
In many cases such as this, it is best to place a call to the
Tickets phone line. However, since the Cast Members on the phone can only sell tickets to be mailed to your home. So if you require
Disney eTickets soon, it is usually best to try to make the purchase online. I’d like to share a few tricks that will hopefully help get that
theme park ticket purchase to succeed.
First of all, it’s best to not try the purchase transaction too many times in a row without checking some settings. Repeated attempts at using your credit card may cause the card issuer to place a hold on your account. That would mean calling your credit card company to verify your account and release the hold. If your payment card is in good standing, the next thing would be to check the settings in your
Disney profile. In both the
account settings and the
payment methods, it’s important that billing addresses match with the address used by your credit card company. If you have an apartment or other unit number in your address, I’ve heard it is best to keep that on the first line of the address fields instead of moving it to the second line. For security, it’s also a good practice to update your phone number as well.
If you still have issues purchasing tickets, it may be worth switching to a different device. If you are using a computer, try the purchase using the
Disneyland mobile app or vice versa. I normally use the default browser on my devices. But a Cast Member has suggested to me that the Google Chrome browser is a good option to use. Enabling the browser’s “incognito” mode may also help give a clean start to the browser. Clearing cached website data in the browser may be another way to reset the browser to a working state.
Tony’s Tip: To avoid dealing with credit card issues, I prefer using
Disney Gift Cards. When I don’t have time to wait for a physical card to arrive, I make sure to purchase a
Disney Gift Card eGift. And with an eGift, I can add the card to my mobile wallet for convenient contactless payments accepted at most Disneyland Resort locations. For larger purchases, multiple gift cards may be combined on the
Disney Gift Card website . A single card may store up to $1000.
I hope that gives a few ideas for successfully completing your theme park ticket purchase, Snizhaba. And may you enjoy The Happiest Place on Earth for some adventure and fantasy soon!
