They are not having MVMCP while we are visiting the week of thanksgiving this year. I was wondering if they will have the castle lit with the crystal looking lights or is that only during the MVMCP?

    Hi Ellie,

When you arrive at Walt Disney World during Thanksgiving week, you'll find that the parks and resorts will all be dressed in their holiday finest.  That includes the dream lights on Cinderella Castle.  Even on nights when Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is not being held in the Magic Kingdom, the castle will be illuminated in the most breath-taking blue and white lights.  Check out the free Times Guide when you enter the Magic Kingdom if you wish to catch the lighting ceremony.

Wishing you a magical and memorable trip to Walt Disney World later this month!
