If we do not want to go to Magic Kingdom all day just for the night to see Mickey's Christmas party do we just buy the event ticket or do we have to still buy a regular admission ticket plus event ticket ?

Hello Kristina!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I love Christmastime at Walt Disney World and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the icing on the cake.  It might just be my favorite event that happens throughout the year.  To gain access into the party, you'll need to purchase a separate ticket exclusively for the party.  This ticket does not give you access into Magic Kingdom until the evening when the party starts.  If you aren't planning on visiting a park in the morning or afternoon, you don't need to purchase a general admission ticket that day.  In fact, if you wanted to enter Magic Kingdom a little early, your party ticket will get you in starting at 4:00 p.m.  Getting in a few hours before the party officially starts is a great way to get the most value out of your party ticket.

I hope this helps!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.  Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
