Did not find this question answered on the panel. Our flight lands early, well before our room would be ready. We’ve received our magic bands and have already made all dining and FastPass selection. Do we have to stop at the resort, or can we go directl

    Hi Jeff!

I am assuming that you are planning to take Disney's Magical Express to your resort from the airport.  If so, then you will at least have to go to your resort to get on a bus to the parks.  The buses from the airport don't run to the parks, only to the resorts.  If this is the case, then you may want to go ahead and check in so your luggage will be delivered to your room while you are out.  You can also do an online check-in before your trip! This helps expedite the process once there.

However, if you are renting a car, you can certainly go straight to the parks.  Your resort reservation *should* be linked to your Magic Band, and this would enable you to park for free. (resort guests park free at the parks) Generally, you will get a pass to put in your window when you check in to show that you are a resort guest.  If you haven't checked in yet, you would need to explain the situation to the parking attendant and let them verify your reservation.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions, and have a magical trip!!
