we are not a family of soda drinkers and wondering for our counter service meals if there are any sealed drink choices that we can get to go - we will likely just drink tap water during the meal? is there an option for drinks to go from table service?

    Hi Catherine,

My family isn't a soda-drinking family either, so I can definitely help you with your question!

You know how people say that pizza and bagels from New York are so good because of the City's tap water? Well, just like how New York City's tap water has a distinct "taste," I think the same can be said about the tap water at Walt Disney World.

    Brace yourself....

I actually like the tap water at Walt Disney World!

(Truth be told, it's probably a psychological thing for me because I'm such a Disney fanatic.)

The good news is that if you'd rather not opt for the tap water, you'll have no problem scoring bottled water, juices, milk, or other specialties (check out LeFou's Brew at Gaston's Tavern in Fantasyland) at the various counter-service restaurants.

As for the table-service restaurants, they all offer bottled water (usually 1 liter bottles of the fancy European stuff) or juices. So, you should have no problem since your family is soda-free.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

The sundry shops at the various Walt Disney World resort hotels offer large-format bottles of water, which are a much better value than the smaller bottles you'll see around the theme parks. I usually buy a few each morning - one that stays back in our hotel room and two that'll get tossed in my backpack for us to enjoy as we explore the theme parks.

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you should have any additional questions and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
