Not only do we drink water we like to drink Gatorade to stay hydrated. Is colored Gatorade (light blue etc) allowed in plastic bottle?thank you

Hi there, Dawn, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disney adventure begins in less than a month, and I couldn’t be more excited for you!

I’m all about staying hydrated at the Disneyland Resort, so I’m thrilled to hEAR your question. Yes, you may bring snacks and drinks into the theme parks, so long as they aren’t in glass containers, or including any alcoholic beverages. Also, the Disneyland Resort Rules state that if you plan to keep your drinks cold with ice, be sure it’s bagged, or, I recommend using a re-usable ice pack. Loose ice and dry ice are prohibited starting May 1, 2019. Also, any coolers or backpacks can’t be larger than 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high.

We’re starting to see warmer weather in the forecast in Anaheim, so I love sharing this helpful tip, too: Ask for a complimentary lidded cup of ice water at any of the Resort’s quick-service restaurants. I find this is a great way to avoid carrying around heavy water bottles all day, while still staying properly hydrated.

And last but not least, if you need a spot to store any items you’ve brought in with you, you may want to rent a locker for the day. You can find Locker Rentals in Disneyland Park on Main Street, U.S.A., in Disney California Adventure Park on Buena Vista Street, or on The Esplanade between both parks.

    Wishing you Disney magic!
