I have not been to Disney for at least 10 years but in Jan I am taking my 15m twin girls for a one day visit to the Magic Kingdom. I have no idea how to plan our day or must sees for young toddlers. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Maggie. I'm so excited to hear you're planning another visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! And this time with two little princesses in tow! Your heart is sure to melt as you watch their sweet little faces light up with joy and excitement.

Magic Kingdom Park is my absolute favorite theme park to explore with toddlers. With lots of family-friendly attractions and plenty of Character experiences, there are many pixie-dusted adventures to be had in this iconic park! Let's chat about how you can make the most of your day there with your little ones

Plan to arrive to Magic Kingdom Park early. The park is the least crowded first thing in the morning, which means you'll spend less time waiting in line for popular attractions in those early hours. When you arrive, head straight for Fantasyland. There you'll find attractions your girls are sure to love like Peter Pan's Flight, "it's a small world," Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. When your girls are ready to burn off some energy, spend some time at Dumbo the Flying Elephant. This attraction features an interactive queue with an indoor playground designed for children of all ages!

Be sure to pick up a Times Guide when you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park. The Times Guide will list the day's entertainment offerings like Mickey's Celebration Cavalcade. Your little girls will love waving to beloved Disney Characters as they pass by on Main Street, U.S.A. They may also enjoy traditional Character Meet and Greets like Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater and Princess Tiana at Princess Fairytale Hall.

For diaper changes or potty breaks, stop by the Baby Care Center. The Baby Care Center features a quiet changing room that will certainly seem a bit less stressful than the public restrooms for a mom of twins. And while you're welcome to bring toddler-friendly snacks and drinks into the theme park with you, know that those items are available for purchase at the Baby Care Center!

One last tip - be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app. It's magic at your fingertips! Disney Genie Service, the newest feature on the app, is designed to optimize your time and maximize your fun in the theme parks. When you open Disney Genie Service, you'll have the opportunity to select the attractions, entertainment, and dining experiences that are most important to you. Disney Genie Service will take those top interests and craft the ultimate itinerary for your day!

I hope this was helpful, Maggie. I'm wishing you and your girls a visit to Magic Kingdom Park that is practically perfect in every way!
