If you do not make a dining reservation and there are no more slots available to choose from, can you still walk up to and be seated - after a wait I would assume? Do they take walk ups? I was thinking of a resort eatery, not necessarily at the parks.

    Hi Kelly,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I suggest that you keep checking for Dining Reservation availability on the My Disney Experience app and/or the website. Reservations become available as people cancel them, so it's best to check frequently. You can also try walking up. Sometimes a restaurant can accommodate a walk up party, however, it' s a bit more difficult to do at some of the more popular restaurants. In my experience, it has been easier for me to get a walk up Reservation at Resort Hotel restaurants and the restaurants in Disney's BoardWalk area. That said, there are so many fabulous Quick-Service Restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort that you are guaranteed a delicious meal no matter where you go! Here are some of my top picks in the Theme Parks:

    Magic Kingdom Park:
Pinocchio Village Haus ~ The Caprese Flatbread there is delicious, and if you grab a seat upstairs, you can enjoy a gorgeous view of Prince Charming Regal Carrousel andCinderella Castle.
Sleepy Hollow ~ The Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich is a "must-eat".

    Epcot:
Sunshine Seasons ~ The wide variety of meal options that are offered; Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, Asian fare, and wood-fired entrées, make this a great spot for a delicious lunch or dinner.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park:
Flame Tree Barbecue ~ The Pulled Pork Sandwich is amazing!

I hope these suggestions help. Please visit us again if you have any additional vacation planning questions!
