If you DO NOT have the dining plus w/ table service, does that mean we cannot just walk up to a table service restaurant and get a table? We don't want to make reservations for places we have never been and at times we don't know where we will b

    Hello April!

You do not have to be on a dining plan with table service to enjoy a meal at a table service restaurant.  You are certainly welcome to try to walk up to any table service location to check the availability but you may be disappointed of the strong possibility that there will be no tables available or possibly a long wait.

Advanced dining reservations are always strongly recommended at Disney, especially during peak vacation periods and during the free dining promotions.
