    If we are not on the dining plan, can we split a meal at the table service restaurants?

    Hi Roland, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Yes, you will totally be able to split many delicious Table Service meals, even if you are not on a Dining Plan. My husband and I did it all the time on our honeymoon!

    The only exceptions to this rule are buffet meals, like those served at Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, family-style meals like those served at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and price-fixed experiences like the dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park.

    You will be able to share plates at amazing places like the Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen and Tony's Town Square Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park. At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you will be able to enjoy Tiffins, the Nomad Lounge, and Yak & Yeti Restaurant, for example.

    Another place where you can split a meal is Jiko - The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. That is my favorite restaurant and has the largest African wine cellar outside of Africa. The Charcuterie and Cheese Board is full of delicious surprises and the Mrouzia-style Moroccan Lamb Tagine is so tender that it melts in your mouth. How does that sound?
