We are not on a dining plan and plan to pay out of pocket for our meals this time. I was wondering if the kids are not hungry do they have to order at a table service? Can just the adults in the party order?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brooke!

When my family travels to Walt Disney World Resort, dining is truly one of the highlights of our vacation. We love trying new restaurants, but we can't help but visit our favorites over and over again. We find ourselves sharing the Original Lobster Bake for Two at The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs almost every time we're there, and we can't stay away from the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup at Le Cellier Steakhouse! The next time we're on vacation, I want to try Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, also at Disney Springs. I hear the pizza is fantastic!

When you're traveling with little ones, it's sometimes tough to predict when they'll be hungry and what they want to eat. That's one of the reasons I love that dining at Walt Disney World Resort is so flexible! If you're at a Table-Service restaurant and your kids aren't hungry, or they want to share a meal or eat off of your plate, that is totally fine. Feel free to order whatever is right for your family! The only exception is if you're at a buffet, like Boma - Flavors of Africa, or a Character Dining experience, like 1900 Park Fare, everyone over the age of three who is named on the reservation will be charged a fixed price for their meal whether they eat or not.

    Have a magical day, Brooke!
