I am not on the dining plan and I have made several restaurant reservations. If we are ordering off a menu...not a buffet...can we split a meal? Or order one salad and one entree to share? I can almost guarantee two meals will be way too much food.

    Hi Patricia,

Absolutely! My husband and I often order a salad each, then split an entree. Or we will order two or three appetizers to share for our entire meal. I like to leave room for a treat as we are walking around the parks, and nothing is worse than being too full for a Mickey bar or a Dole Whip.

We have never had a problem using this approach at any Walt Disney World restaurant. In fact, we once had a server tell us we were ordering too much food and should scale back.

(You are correct that you will each need to pay for a meal at the buffet restaurants.)

I hope that eases your concern. Please let me know if I can answer any other dining questions for you. Disney dining is one of my favorite activities. Enjoy your visit!
