Also, not very clear which water park is available in late August and early September. If we get 4day pass, how many times we can visit water parks?

Hey, howdy, hey, and welcome to planDisney. I just returned from a sun-soaked adventure at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park enjoying our Beachcomber Shack Premium with shade, sodas, and songs from our Bluetooth speaker set low so as not to disturb other Guests. Truly magical!

Here is some history since Walt Disney World Resort reopened the Disney Water Parks.

    • November 13, 2022 - Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon closed / Disney's Blizzard Beach opened
    • March 19, 2023 - Disney's Blizzard Beach closed / Disney's Typhoon Lagoon opened
    • November 6, 2023 - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon / Disney's Blizzard Beach opened
    • March 17, 2024 - Disney's Blizzard Beach closed / Disney's Typhoon Lagoon opened

Based on the pattern I would expect Disney's Typhoon Lagoon to remain open until early November so you should be safe to enjoy the 6-foot waves in the largest wave pool in the United States and trips down the fruit shoots of Crush 'n' Gusher.

There are many different types of theme park tickets and your travel agent should be able to guide you since you live outside the United States and Canada. If you are purchasing a regular 4-Day ticket you will need to either add on the Park Hopper Plus or Water Parks and Sport Option which will give you access to the Disney Water Park for each day of your ticket. You could also purchase the 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket with a Water Park and Sports Option (different than a regular 4-Day ticket), or buy a Disney Water Park ticket separately. For either 4-Day ticket example, your 4-Day ticket would allow four visits to the water parks.

I hope this clears up any confusion. I consider the Disney Water Parks a hidden treasure that all Guests should take advantage. I mean, floating down the Castaway Creek lazy river is just what my feet need after walking 8-10 miles in the theme parks.

I hope this information helps you enjoy some splashtastic fun in the sun. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions or for other Disney vacation planning tips.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
