When is it not that busy what month? I was looking at the first or second week of June 2020. What do you think

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Heather! I'm so excited that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort! I think you've really asked the million-dollar question here because everyone I know is always trying to figure out the perfect week to plan their vacations when the crowds are low and the weather is beautiful. I have some opinions that are backed up solely by my experience and not any kind of science or data, and I'm happy to share them with you.

One of the facts of life about going on vacation is that you'll always be sharing space with other guests but, as you said, some weeks tend to be a bit quieter than others! The first rule of thumb is that if the kids are out of school, expect them to be at Walt Disney World Resort, with Magic Kingdom Park being especially popular. People love to turn a long weekend into a quick family vacation so be sure to check the calendar and make your plans around any major United States holidays. June is generally a good time to visit before the most popular time of year in the later summer, but remember that most schools around the country will have broken up for summer vacation so it may be a little bit busier than the time between spring break and the end of the school year. My personal favorite time of year to visit is the time between Christmas and Thanksgiving when the weather is cool, the crowds are lower, and the holiday celebrations have begun, so consider that time of year as well and think about if it's right for your family!

With all that being said, the best time of year to visit is when it works well for you. There is fun to be had at Walt Disney World Resort every single day, so no matter when you choose to come, Mickey Mouse will be waiting to welcome you!

    Have a magical day, Heather!
