I can not add my husbands tickets to my or his apple Wallet. I’ve added the rest of the family from the MDE app but on his ticket the “add to device” button is greyed out. Please help!!!

Hello, and a warm welcome back to planDisney, Ashley!

How very excited you must be, your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort during the 50th Anniversary Celebration and during Walt Disney World Resort’s Halloween Season is just around the river bend! Ashley, your planning couldn’t be timelier, not only that, but you are also an astute planner and user of the My Disney Experience App, well done!

Without sounding redundant, since you are an expert on using Disney MagicMobile Service, I will cover some basics to dig a little deeper to arrive at the core of Apple, which was my issue recently. First, let’s ensure that your Apple device is running the latest version of iOS, and then check that the My Disney Experience App is also updated. Sometimes, I have discovered that I must uninstall and reinstall the My Disney Experience App and perform a reboot on my mobile device to wake everything up.

Secondly, I did not have enough space in my wallet (no surprise there), and then I forgot to enable 2-factor authentication and set up a passcode and/or enable my Face ID. And then I had to enable Apple Pay.

If you are able to see your husband's theme park admission on your device, then you can try to share the ticket once again by tapping Select Passes to Share from the Disney MagicMobile tile on your Welcome Ashley page on the app. After you have selected your husband's pass, please tap on Share via Messages and follow through to send the Disney MagicMobile pass via Messages.

Ashley, if you still have issues creating a Disney MagicMobile pass for yourself and your husband, rest assured, you can still use MagicBands and/or the MagicBand+ devices or your Theme Park Admission Cards to gain access to a theme park. Stop by a theme park Guest Relations or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to receive your Will-Call ticket cards (don't forget your actual valid government-issued photo ID and ticket confirmation email), and to also receive support from a Cast Member for creating a Disney MagicMobile pass – they work their particular brand of magic over there!

Ashley, I hope this information solves your issue, it was my great pleasure assisting a fellow Canadian Disney fan and I look forward to offering more first-hand tips to help optimize your visit!

    Best Disney Wishes!
    Jacqueline
