Welcome back to planDisney, Karen!
It’s been a while, but we’re so glad to hear from you again! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’re getting excited for your upcoming trip to Disney World — and I really hope that we can get you a spot at the out-of-this-world
Space 220 Lounge! I always enjoy my time there, and I hope with a little faith, trust, and pixie dust that we can get you there too.
Karen, you are doing everything you need to do to try and snag a reservation for the Space 220 Lounge. Reservations for this Lounge (and for the Space 220 Restaurant as well) are extremely popular, and can be hard to get. I hopped on my laptop and tried the
My Disney Experience Mobile App with many different party sizes to see if I could find some availability, and I had no luck at this time! I am going to share my troubleshooting tips with you.
These are the steps that I recommend taking to try to make dining reservations when it seems like the availability is sparse:
-Keep checking back every day on your computer and on your My Disney Experience Mobile App. People change their plans often, and you may be able to snag a spot this way. ESPECIALLY check the day that you are wanting to go as day-of reservations sometimes become available.
-Join the Walk-Up Waitlist on the day you will be in EPCOT on the App IF it is offered for the day that you are visiting.
-Go to the podium outside the restaurant to ask if there is a physical waitlist for you to join. They may or may not have availability and the wait will be subject to the length of the waitlist.
I am so hoping that you will be able to experience the Space 220 Lounge, Karen! If you make it up to space, I love the Starry Calamari, the Blue Moon Cauliflower, and the Space Wings for the food offered at the Lounge! I also recommend the Moon Rocks drink!
I hope your trip is wonderful, Karen! If you need additional tips, you know where to find us here at planDisney!
See ya real soon,
Allyn
