Lisa from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

If I am not able to use my tickets after all, is there a way to put the amount I paid onto a Disney gift card, apply it to dining, or apply it to an upcoming Disney cruise reservation?

Howdy Lisa! Welcome to planDisney. We’re so glad you’re here!

Oh boy, I’m so bummed to hear that you may need to change your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans. I'm sure you have been so looking forward to this trip, but whenever you can visit is sure to be the perfect time to enjoy all that Walt Disney World has to offer! If you do end up rescheduling for any time until March 31st, 2023, you will still be a part of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration. There is so much to enjoy during The World's Most Magical Celebration, including the stunning Beacons of Magic throughout all four theme parks. You'll love how the legendary theme park icons have been transformed into EARIdescent wonders of light and color. They really take your breath away and make for the perfect photo backdrop!

Ok, let’s get to your question! Unfortunately, there is no way to transfer the value of your tickets to a Disney Gift Card or apply it to a Disney Cruise Line vacation. But, there are still some options for you, should you be unable to use them.

While Theme Park Tickets are non-refundable, you can modify the date of your visit in the My Disney Experience app for a future date. To do so, simply open the menu and select "Tickets and Passes," then click on "Change Ticket" and select "Change Ticket." From there, you can adjust the date of your ticket, and you are all set.

Now, let's say you’re still unsure what dates you will be rescheduling your vacation for. In that case, while your actual tickets will expire, the value of your entirely unused tickets will be valid indefinitely. To use the credit toward a future visit, you will need to speak to one of the wonderful Cast Members on the Ticket Services Team by calling (407) 939-5277. They will be happy to help you apply your credit whenever you are ready to purchase tickets for a future Walt Disney World vacation.

Lisa, the fun never stops at Walt Disney World, so I promise you will have an absolutely wonderful vacation whenever you can make it. Once you have your dates finalized, I would love to tell you about any events or exciting new offerings available during your visit. So, feel free to write me again, as I would love to help make your vacation as magical as possible!

    See you real soon!
