I might not be able to use the tickets for June 1st and 2nd. Can I transfer them to a friend's account?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Kelly. Like Elastigirl, Disneyland theme park tickets have a lot of flexibility built into them.

Life happens and plans often change, but not all hope is lost when it comes to your theme park tickets. While I hope that you’re able to continue with your original plans, if things change, I’m happy to share that you can absolutely gift your tickets to a friend. As long as the ticket is not partially used, you can step into your Fairy Godmother era and make some magic for a friend. Your friend can easily add the theme park tickets to their MyDisney account in the Disneyland app

The quickest way to do this is to tap the “☰” to open the menu, followed by tapping the “My Tickets & Passes” tile. Next, tap the “+” in the upper right and then “Link Tickets & Passes.” From here, your friend can use the camera feature to scan the ticket barcode or use “Type ID” to manually type in the ticket ID number. Tickets aren’t assigned until they are scanned at the gate, so there’s no need to worry about the name on the ticket. Just make sure your friend secures a theme park reservation before making their visit.

Kelly, I hope the information I’ve shared has been helpful and gives you some peace of mind. Please come back to visit us with any other questions that you might have. I hope everything works out, but know that the magic will always be there waiting whenever you’re ready.
