    I am not able to get a res for Fantasmic at Mama Mia's that works 4 us. But I am able to get a regular res @ 6pm. Is that enuf time to eat and get n line for gen adm? Do u actually stand n line or do they go ahead and start seating people as they arrive?

    Hi Nancy!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

    You didn't' say what night you are visiting, so I don't know what time Fantasmic! is that night, but I'll give you some general rules of thumb:
    • You should plan on a meal at Mama Melrose's to take about 60 minutes
    • You should be line for Fantasmic between 45 minutes and 60 minutes before show time if you want a good seat and the crowd level is at least average.  If the crowd is below average then 30 minutes before show time is fine, and if the park is packed, then shoot closer to 60 minutes
    • If there are two showings of Fantasmic then go to the second showing and arrive about 30 minutes before show time
    • It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the restaurant to the end of the line for Fantasmic!

    Guests stand in line until Disney is ready to seat them in the stadium.  For the first showing, you might not get seated until about 30 minutes before show time.
