If I am not able to make my Oogie boogie date am I able to gift the ticket to someone else? And would I have to change the name on the ticket?

Welcome to planDisney, Monique! I am sorry to hear that you won't be able to attend Oogie Boogie Bash this year. However, it is very kind of you to want to give your ticket to someone else.

The good news is yes! You can absolutely give your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket to someone else as a gift. Just keep in mind that Oogie Boogie Bash tickets can't be resold or transferred for commercial purposes, according to the ticket terms and conditions. There's no need to change the name on the ticket, since it becomes associated with the guest who first scans into the event. If you have any questions about your specific ticket, I'd recommend calling the Tickets phone line, where a friendly Cast Member can help.

If you do decide to give your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket to someone else, the easiest way to transfer the ticket over would be to screenshot it and send it to their mobile device. They can then link the ticket to their account in the Disneyland app and will be able to access it to enter the party. Just a quick note here: the gifted ticket must be wholly unused prior to entry into the park. Be sure to transfer the ticket before anyone uses it to enter Disney California Adventure, since it must be wholly unused.

I have one final tip for you, Monique! If you have a theme park reservation for the day of the event, the reservation is separate from the Oogie Boogie Bash ticket. This means that even if you can't attend Oogie Boogie Bash, you can still enter one or both of the theme parks, depending on your ticket type. However, if you have a theme park reservation and are also unable to make it to the parks that particular day, do not forget to cancel or modify your reservation so you can still experience the magic on a different day.

Monique, I hope this helps you decide what works best for your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket. If you have any additional questions, please visit us here at planDisney again!

    Happy early Halloween!
