Hi Agnita! We're so happy you found your way to our magical corner of Disney Parks planning! Let's take flight together to see if we can soar like Dumbo and get you on your way to the Happiest Place on Earth!
It sounds like you are having some difficulty with the process of buying tickets online. I'm sure that is not the most magical feeling, but I do have some tips to try to get that pixie dust back on track. One thing to note, as part of the return to the magic, all Guests will need both a theme park ticket and a
theme park reservation to enter the parks. If you are purchasing your ticket through the
Disneyland Resort website, you will be prompted to make a reservation as part of the checkout process. This is where it may get a little confusing if you are seeing there is no availability on your preferred date and it may look like you are unable to buy tickets online. If this is the case, it actually means that there are currently no reservations available on that day. While the ticket gets you into the park, the reservation holds a space for you in a particular park on a particular day. Reservations can be canceled and rescheduled as needed, subject to availability. Let's get out our magic wands and see what we can do for you!
As you might know, life can often throw some pumpkins in your path, so you will find that reservations can become available as Guests change their plans. It may take a little patience and a whole lot of pixie dust, but my recommendation is to continue checking that
reservation calendar! Be sure to toggle between the different ticket options, as each has its pool of reservations. You will see that you can select One Park Per Day, Park Hopper, Annual Passholders, and Disney Hotel Guests. There may be a case where a Park Hopper ticket has availability while a One Park Per Day ticket does not. With a Park Hopper, you would select the park where you would start your day and after 1 p.m., you can hop as much as you like! The calendar makes live updates as Guests make changes, so have your fingers ready to book if you see something open up on the 28th!
Agnita, I'm wishing on all the stars for you that the calendar opens up! If you can make a reservation for that day, be sure to save some energy to stay in the parks past sunset. The nighttime spectaculars are BACK and you will actually be at Disneyland Park on the day of
Fantasmic!'s grand return! This is one of my favorites and one that has long-lasting memories for my kiddos! They always talk about Sorcerer Mickey and the fireworks shooting from his fingers! I can't wait to see this beloved show bring the Rivers of America back to life!
