Salutations Michelle!
Welcome back to planDisney where we strive to make all your planning wishes come true! I have a fairytale story to answer your question.
"Once upon a time there lived a family from the kingdom of Merseyside who was going to cross the pond to travel to Walt Disney World. Wanting to make her family’s voyage the most magical one ever, the Queen wanted to book an appointment at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Alas, a spell had been cast in 2020 causing the Most Magical Place on Earth to make some changes in the kingdom to ensure Guests’ safety, and this salon had to temporarily close its doors.
But...good news! There are still many fabulous princess opportunities and themed activities still available and will likely continue to be when you make the journey to Walt Disney World next spring.
-Make a reservation for the
Character Couture at Senses Spa. There, you can be transformed into your favorite Disney princess or villain. I've experienced this firsthand and chose Belle from
Beauty and the Beast for my new look. It's classy, fun, and quite entertaining. The Character Couture is a one-of-a-kind Disney makeover and is available to all ages (but kids under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times). Participating locations include the spas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, and Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort.
-Beginning September 24,
Cinderella’s Royal Table will fling open its doors to welcome Guests. While the princesses will be taking a break from their royal duties greeting Guests, there will still be a banquet fit for a king and queen at this regal restaurant and the price for this meal will be adjusted accordingly. There’s always the possibility that by May, the characters will be able to return to their greeting duties. Make your
reservations for Cinderella’s Royal Table up to 60 days in advance of your travel dates.
At the news of these amazing experiences, there was much fanfare and celebration throughout the kingdom. The Fairy Godmother sits poised to wave her magic wand when more beloved experiences can return, so check on the latest news from the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Experience Updates from Walt Disney World."
Here ends our fairytale story. To you, Queen Michelle, I bid you farewell for now. Hope you and your family have a magical vacation!
