Hi Kristine,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
If you are having trouble getting a reservation at a restaurant that you are wanting to experience, you can always visit the restaurant and ask if there is any walk up seating available when you are there. It is always possible that someone may have canceled a reservation and that you might get in. You can also check with Guest Relations when you enter a theme park to ask if any reservations have opened up for that day. Also of course keep checking the
Disney Dining website now - you never know when someone might cancel a reservation. None of these are guarantees, but they are worth trying.
Other than that, I suggest trying some of the restaurants that I consider hidden gems at Walt Disney World - those that people do not often talk about, but that my family loves. These include Trail's End at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground for fabulous fried chicken, Kouzzina by Cat Cora at Disney's BoardWalk for a taste of the Mediterranean, and Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for delicious Indian-infused African fare. Although these restaurants may be a little more out of the way than those located inside of a theme park, in my opinion, they are worth the trip.
I hope that this gives you some ideas for dining on your Walt Disney World vacation, Kristine. Please do not hesitate to come back and ask if you have any further questions!
