We will not be able to attend a Mickey's Christmas Party since our arrival will be 12/21/10. Will there be other nights the week of Christmas that will have snow on Mainstreet in MK and the parade like at the Mickey's Christmas Party?

    Hi Marie,

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year to visit the Magic Kingdom. Dec 19th is the last day for the 2010 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  Fear not, the holiday festivities will continue. Beginning December 20th, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will be held at each afternoon at the Magic Kingdom. The Holiday Wishes fireworks display will be presented each evening. The times vary so be sure to pick up a Times Guide when you enter the park. Cinderella Castle will still be sparkling with thousands of castle dream lights and yes - it does snow on Main Street. Pretty cool to see in Florida - although, there was one night we were at MK last year right after Christmas that I thought I would freeze even though I came prepared.

If you want to plan ahead, you can check the parade & fireworks schedules for the Magic Kingdom on-line by clicking here.  Select December from the drop down list next to the View Month tab. That will take you to the December calendar which will list park hours and Extra Magic Hours. Click on a specific day for parade & fireworks schedules. Just be sure you pick up a Times Guide as you enter the parks to confirm as schedules are always subject to change without notice.

Wishing you many magical holiday memories :-) Allison
