I started to experience this same issue last week. I submitted a request for feedback in the app by tapping the more icon [3 horizontal lines] and scrolling down to
Help. I clicked on S
end Us Your Feedback and selected
Other Technical Issues. I described in detail what happened to me when I tried to add a border to one of my photos, and even included a screenshot. I thought something was wrong with my smartphone or the app.
I received an answer from the Guest Support Team, telling me they are experiencing some technical difficulties when Guests try to perform these actions. They are anticipating an update to the My Disney Experience mobile app that will correct the problem when it is released. I recommend that you report your issues as well, in the hopes that an update will come sooner for all Guests experiencing this problem. You can reach out to the
Guest Support Team at Disney Photo Imaging through the mobile app or by calling (407) 560-4300 to report your issue.
