Nostalgia time ! In the mid 1980's we stayed on property at the "Club Lake Villas". Super nice and roomy. Have they been torn down? Have they been renamed? Thanks for your help.

Hi, Carolyn!   Resorts have certainly changed through the years, and Club Lake Villas are now just a memory!   From what I can remember, they stood near what was then called "Disney Village," now called Disney Marketplace (although I admit my family still refers to it as Disney Village!)

In its place is the beautiful Disney Vacation Club Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.   This resort offers accommodations from studio rooms to 3 bedroom suites complete with full kitchens.   While this is a Disney Vacation Club property, guest who are not owners can still stay at this sprawling resort.

While the Club Lake Villas you remember are gone, for luxurious, spacious rooms, check out any of THESE Deluxe Villa Resorts.   I hope you try one of these Villa Resorts and make some new memories in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
