hello from Northern Ontario, we are taking our grandchildren aged 2 and 5 at easter .can you tell us what we can look forward too.

    George:

What wonderful grandparents!  And what a memorable experience.

Tongue in cheek, I must tell you to look forward to crowds if you'll be at Disney during Easter, as it is one of the most popular times of the year to visit!  But getting an early start to your mornings and returning to your hotel room after lunch as the crowds thicken and little ones grow tired will ensure you take back fond memories.

When we were at Disney two years ago for Easter, we were delighted that our resort had special activities that weekend including pool parties and a candy hunt.  There were even opportunities for pictures with the Easter Bunny.  Last year, there were services at the Contemporary, too.  We stayed clear of the parks and simply enjoyed our resort.  You'll be given an extensive list of activities when you check-in, so make sure to include them in your schedule.

My favorite part of visiting that time of year, though, is the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot with topiaries in the shapes of Disney characters and a butterfly garden!  It will be returning this year, too!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
