We normally stay at Wilderness Lodge but thinking of Contemporary for our next stay? We have two children who will be 10 & 3.

    Hi Carly,

With so many amazing Disney Resort hotels available, it's always difficult to decide where to stay during your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

My family have stayed at many of the Value, Moderate & Deluxe Disney Resort hotels over the years and I have to say that the Wilderness Lodge is one of our all-time favourites.

As both Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort are both Deluxe Resort hotels, you will find that the recreation and amenities on offer at both hotels are similar.

The added advantage of staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort is the fact that you can either walk to the Magic Kingdom Park and can take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. There is also a Character Dining location, Chef Mickey's at this Resort hotel.

On the other hand, the rustic charm, roaring fireplace and beauty of the great outdoors is the draw at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort.

I'm sure that no matter which Disney Resort hotel you choose, you will have an amazing time and if you simply cannot choose between the two, you could always consider doing a split-stay.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
