Hi, if I get a normal MYM ticket can I use the Extra Magic Hours or do I need the park hopper option? My parents and I are staying at the Hilton in Downtown Disney which apparently offers it. Thanks.

Hi Jen!

You are correct, the Hilton located in Downtown Disney offers the Extra Magic Hours (EMH). Not only is it a beautiful hotel, you get great perks too! The Extra Magic Hours are a Resort benefit, so it does not matter what kind of ticket you have. If you choose to participate in the EMH, you must stay at that park for the day if you do not have park hopping freedom. So if you go to the Magic Kingdom for morning EMH, you must stay at the Magic Kingdom for that day. If you go to Hollywood Studios for evening EMH, you must have used your ticket for Hollywood Studios for that day.
