    Are the non-concierge room doors magnetic on the Disney Wish? We would love to put magnets on our door for our first cruise.

    Hello, Jennifer! I’m delighted you came to planDisney with your FIRST question as you prepare for your FIRST Disney Cruise. This is certainly something to celebrate!

    Before you know it, you’ll be stepping aboard the beautiful Disney Wish! There are magical touches around every corner, and every stateroom celebrates a beloved Disney fairy tale. You can mark your “happily ever after” vacation by personalizing your stateroom door. I’m always amazed by everyone’s creativity when I walk back to my cabin. It’s fun to see where everyone is from or what they are celebrating. Make sure you do not attach anything to the door with tape or adhesives. Otherwise, you are free to use magnets to customize your door. 

    When you’re exploring the ship, I have a tip to help you navigate back to your cabin. Not only does every stateroom tell a story, but the hallway carpet, too! The carpet near the elevators in the aft of the ship is blue (Blue = Back) and green in the front. You’ll also find handy deck plans in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The app is like having your very own magic wand in your hand. Best of all, there’s no limit to the app’s magic, and the fun doesn’t end at midnight. Once you connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi, you can access the Daily Activity Schedule, restaurant menus, onboard chat, and more! You do not need to purchase an internet package to use the app or any of its features.
