Hi Lorraine,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I had to smile when I saw your question. As a mom who does not normally allow her children to drink soft drinks, I can empathize with your dilemma!
So I went straight to the source and asked our girls. They recalled Powerade, hot chocolate, fruit punch, assorted juices, frozen lemonade, smoothies, milkshakes and water. There are always at least one or two non-carbonated options when using our resort refillable mugs. When dining, the options vary by restaurant. At
50's Prime Time Café, for example, our girls love the milkshakes. At the snack and beverage stands, we always get a frozen lemonade. And at
Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies we take a break to get a smoothie. If you check the menus for restaurants, you can typically see what beverages are offered. When I checked the dinner menu for one of our favorite restaurants,
Be Our Guest, they have lemonade and fruit punch. To find a restaurant menu, simply click on the website for that restaurant, then click on "View Menu." Select breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Lorraine, if you have other dietary needs, be sure to review the information at
Special Dietary Requests. Most of all, know that cast members are always willing to assist you. We always make a note of our special dietary requests on our dining reservations. At some table-service restaurants, the chef has even come out to talk with us about our food allergies!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
