My non-athletic family is thinking about the 5K family fun run during marathon weekend 2013. It looks like the longer races are filling up already, but there aren't any numbers for the 5K. Does that mean there's no limit, so we don't have decide yet?

Hi Judy!  I bet your family is much more athletic than you are crediting them for!  The great thing about running/walking is that you don't necessarily have to be athletic to do it!  Just go at your own pace and keep building your strength and stamina.  You aren't competing against anyone.  It's all about being active and healthy!

The 5K does have a capacity and can sell out.  However, they will generally post percentages beside it when it gets close to being full so people will be aware.  Since there isn't a number beside it yet, then you still have some time to think about it.

I think your family will love it!  There is not a better place on Earth to be with your family, and introducing a healthy family activity will be icing on the cake!

Let me know if I can help you guys get ready!
