Hi Teri! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question!
There is nothing like a parade at
Walt Disney World, especially at the Magic Kingdom! Watching them come down Main Street, U.S.A., with Cinderella Castle in the background is as magical as it gets.
Currently, two parades are happening daily at the Magic Kingdom. The
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade occurs in the afternoon, while
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away runs at night. Both parades are absolutely magical and worth checking out during your stay. On Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights, the park will close early for this special ticketed event, and Disney Starlight will not be shown. The Christmas Party does feature its own parade, although you will need tickets to this event to view it. Please keep in mind that entertainment options are subject to change at any time, including on a daily basis. You'll want to use the
My Disney Experience Mobile App during your stay to check for any changes.
I took a peek at the
Hours and Events Calendar to check on exact showtimes, but this information has not been released just yet for December. I suggest checking back periodically to see if new information is released in order to help you plan your stay. I highly recommend choosing a night to see Disney Starlight under the night sky. There is something special about the dazzling lights of the parade as it strolls through the Magic Kingdom!
Teri, I hope you have a magical time during your stay!
