Welcome to planDisney, B! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. It sounds like we have a lot in common because I also love to squeeze as much magic as possible into a day at Walt Disney World Resort. Starting early is the key to packing as much as you can into your schedule, so let's chat about arriving in the morning and how it all works at
Magic Kingdom Park.
Magic Kingdom Park is currently opening at 8:00 AM on days when it is scheduled to close at 6:00 PM for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you are not staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you'll park or be dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center before taking the monorail or the ferry to the front gates. On these days with an earlier opening, the monorail has been starting operation around 7:00 AM with the ferry starting up slightly later, at 7:30 AM. If you want the earliest possible start, you should plan to arrive at the Transporation and Ticket Center around 7:00 AM, which is when the parking booths will begin to open, although they may open slightly earlier as these times are subject to change. This will give you plenty of time to park, get on the monorail or ferry, and make your way to Magic Kingdom Park!
Resort Hotel guests will be able to enter Fantasyland and Adventureland and ride attractions beginning at 7:30 AM, but all guests will be admitted into the Theme Park before the official opening, so you'll have time to get some pictures in front of
Cinderella Castle and head in the general direction of your first attraction of the day. An early start is my number one planning tip, so I'm glad to hear that you're considering it!
I hope this answers your question, B, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
