We have a non park day during our Disney World vacation in May. Can we resort hop without a reservation?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Terri!

Thank you for visiting us today with another great question! It is a pleasure to continue to help you plan your next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort.

I am glad to hear you will Be Our Guest next year! I love staying right in the middle of the magic to enjoy pixie-dusted benefits and all the amazing dining opportunities and amenities that Disney Resort hotels have to offer. Resort hopping is one of my favorite things to do on a non-park day, however, as the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort continues, at this time visitors who are not staying overnight must have a confirmed dining reservation to gain access to a Disney Resort hotel if they are a day Guest.

Since there are still a few months to go before your visit, I recommend checking for updates on Disney Resort hotel operations as you get closer to your travel dates, and don't forget that the Disney Parks Blog is another great place to find news on everything Disney Parks. We cannot predict what may happen until next May, so it might be a good idea to consider planning dining reservations at restaurants located in the hotels you would like to visit. You are currently welcome to start booking dining experiences online up to 60 days in advance.

I hope this helps you while planning, Terri! Please stop by once again real soon for more tips and advice.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
