Hi Samantha, welcome to planDisney!
It's no April Fool's joke, you're going to
Walt Disney World! I discovered this
Little Book of Magic recently, which is loaded with great tips and tricks (not the April Fool's kind!) for your upcoming stay.
I applaud your efforts to confirm you have days left on your non-expiration tickets. That's some excellent detective work! There's plenty of magic left in those tickets, so let's see if we can figure out the best way to get them linked to your My Disney Experience account.
When you click "Link Tickets" under the Park Tickets icon in your
My Disney Experience account, tickets purchased before 2010 are instructed to call a U.S. phone number. When linking tickets in the
My Disney Experience mobile app (home screen --> three, small horizontal lines at the bottom right --> "Tickets and Passes" --> "+" --> "Link Tickets and Passes"), you are given similar instructions with a slightly different phone number when you click "Where is the ID number?" The takeaway is that you need a Cast Member's magic wand to complete this important task for your tickets. I believe the best number for you to call is the
Technical and Website Support number. I do recommend getting your tickets liked as soon as possible so you can make
park pass reservations, which are currently required for theme park entry each day. The
theme park availability calendar currently shows availability at all four theme parks for all dates in April, which is a good sign.
Once you're walking down Main Street, U.S.A., with a Florida breeze in your hair and Cinderella Castle in sight, Samantha, you'll know that you know your planning efforts paid off. You are the magic; planDisney is the magician's assistant.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
