    Hello all - I am a non DVC member wanting to book a villa for an April 2016 trip. How far in advance are villas released to the general public? Thank you!

    Hi Heather! It's never too early to start planning a magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. There are a select number of villas at all Disney Vacation Club resorts that are reserved for cash or non-Disney Vacation Club reservations. For 2016 reservations, you can hold your booking with a deposit for a room-only reservation - theme park tickets and a dining plan can be added later.

    You can book your room-only or simple reservation for the Walt Disney Resort you plan to visit 499 days out, but you'll need to call the Disney reservation line at (407) 939- 5277. A Cast Member will be able to assist with your room preferences and advise about availability.  You will need to put a deposit down equivalent to 1 night's stay at the resort when you book, but it's easy to add Disney theme park tickets and other extras closer to the time of your arrival. Once your initial reservation is booked, it can only be altered by calling (407) 939-5277.
