Are non disney resort guests allowed to visit the bigger hotels like the Polynesian or the Contemporary?

Hello, Mary and welcome to planDisney!

I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. I love checking out the different Disney Resorts Collection hotels like Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Contemporary Resort. Did you know that those two resorts opened alongside Magic Kingdom Park in 1971?

Now, Mary, due to continued enhanced health and safety measures, guests (who are not staying at that resort) are required to have an advanced dining reservation to visit. You can check dining availability for restaurants like Kona Cafe, 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Steakhouse 71 and California Grill on the My Disney Experience Mobile app. While this is a popular week to visit, sometimes a last-minute table will open up, not only affording you a delicious meal, but an opportunity to explore one of these resorts.

Mary, I'll be wishing on a star for you that your visit is as Magical as Tinker Bell's pixie dust! If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney where we love to help guests' dreams come true!
