Hi James!
The Walt Disney World
Resorts are amazing and fun to explore. Each one has a special architecture theme and many have amazing dining restaurants to enjoy. All guests are welcome to come to the resorts for a visit and dine in the restaurants. They are not able to use the recreation facilities and are not allowed to enter buildings where rooms are located. That is reserved for resort guests only. But the common areas such as the lobby's are often amazing and full of entertainment.
I just returned from a stay at the
Grand Floridian Resort and one of my favorite things to do there is to sit in the lobby every afternoon and evening to listen to the pianist and then the orchestra play beautiful music. Other resorts have different fun things to see and do. Port Orleans Riverside has an amazing entertainer,
Yehaa Bob, who has quite a show for the family. There are so many more fun things to see and do in the resorts.
Please note that all non resort guests must pass through the resort security gates. You must be prepared to show identification and reservation confirmation numbers for dining. There will be times that all guests who are not staying at a resort will not be allowed to park because of special events taking place.
Hope you can enjoy some of the Walt Disney World magic through the resorts.
