Which non character restaurants are fun for kids 2,4 9,13,14 years old.

Whispering Canyon Cafe and 'Ohana both come to mind.  These are two eateries that host special activities for the kids throughout dinner hours.  Stick pony races take center stage at Whispering Canyon but if your little ones aren't into the cowboy scene, there are plenty of other rowdy antics going on all the time.  At 'Ohana they do various activities including the limbo, coconut races, and a ukelele led casual parade through the dining area.  All of these activities can be very helpful in entertaining restless kiddos but do keep in mind that they can also be distracting, especially when you are trying to convince your toddler to eat his veggies!

For more laid-back fun consider the 50's Prime Time Cafe at Hollywood Studios.  They also host a themed meal but the antics there are far less "in-your-face" than at the other two restaurants.

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
