Hi, Lisa! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
First of all, let me say that I am quite impressed with your ability to travel light when visiting the Walt Disney World
theme parks. "Carrier of All Things" seems to be part of my Disney Mom job description. When I visit the theme parks I always need a small backpack to carry my family's essentials.
The
Walt Disney World Resort takes the safety of its guests very seriously. The
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules state that in order to maintain a safe environment, "all persons, bags, parcels, clothing, and other items may be subject to screening/security checks." This includes even very small bags such as wristlets. If you wish to use your wristlet bag, you will need to go through the bag check line before entering the theme parks. The good news is that the security officers at the theme park entrances are very efficient, and in my experience, the bag check lines usually move quickly.
I see that you will be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth during the
holiday season. Be sure to check out these Disney Parks Moms Panel
tips for making the most of the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort.
See ya real soon!
Samantha
