Ahoy, Robert! Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for sailing over with your Disney Cruise Line question. If you are hosting your family, I understand wanting to make sure that everything is shipshape prior to embarkation day and getting all of those last minute details figured out ahead of time.
Although I can confirm that non-alcoholic beer can be found onboard, the exact offerings are going to vary by ship and sailing date. As a result, I can only tell you that past options have included Heineken 0.0, Buckler, and O'Doul's, but cannot guarantee which brands may be available at the bars and restaurants during your specific sailing.
However,
Disney Cruise Line Onboard Gifts does allow you to pre-order certain drink packages, including some non-alcoholic varieties. Since the options vary by itinerary, you must put your upcoming reservation information in to see the specific offers for your particular sailing dates, but it also allows you to search by departure port. I checked the current options for sailings from Vancouver and there appears to be one non-alcoholic beer item for pre-order: a chilled 6-pack of 11.2-ounce glass bottles of Non-Alcoholic Heineken for the price of 5 bottles.
If that isn’t exactly what you had in mind, then you may want to consider bringing a 6-pack of your favorite non-alcoholic beer with you on board instead. Disney Cruise Line allows guests 21 years and older to bring their own alcoholic beverages on board on embarkation day and at each port of call. The specific rule for beer (even non-alcoholic beer) is 6 beers no larger than 12 ounces. Further details about this alcohol policy can be found
here.
I hope one of those options will meet your needs and address any concerns that your family members might have. If you have any additional questions prior to setting sail for
Alaska in July, then you are always welcome here at planDisney. Happy sailing!
