    What is the noise level if staying on the aft of the ship balcony room? Will you hear the above restaurant if directly below it? Thank you so much, sailing on Disney Dream or Fantasy.

    Thank you for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! From the sounds of your question it looks like you are close to booking a future Disney Cruise! The Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy are such gorgeous ships! Choosing the location of our stateroom is my family's favorite part of the planning process. I'd be happy to share my opinions of what the noise level might be at the ship's aft.

    The aft staterooms located on both the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy offer spacious verandahs perfect for watching the wake of the ship disappear into ocean. If you choose a stateroom on Deck 10, Aft, you will be directly under Cabanas. We have stayed in a stateroom directly under this restaurant and did hear chairs and noises coming from above during the morning and afternoon hours. However, we were often running back to our room before heading out to the next exciting activity planned! We did not hear any noises from above when it was time for bed or during the night. If you or someone you're sailing with enjoys afternoon naps, I might suggest choosing a stateroom on Deck 9, Aft or below.
