Walt Disney World Resort is just over a week away, Kara! It won’t be much longer now, so
just keep swimming and you’ll be at The Most Magical Place on Earth before you know it!
To answer your question, Kara,
hakuna matata! It’s not uncommon for show times for shows such as
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond and
Festival of the Lion King to be released much closer to the actual show date. I checked the Walt Disney World Resort website and show times are published through September 30, but they haven’t yet been updated for October. There is no indication as of this writing that either show will be closed for refurbishment in the next few weeks. It’s certainly possible, but there is usually a heads-up prior to scheduled closures.
What is much more likely is that you’ll see these show times populate in the coming days. I would check the show times for both shows and any other entertainment you would like to see during your visit in the coming days. Times are always subject to change, so it’s best practice to check in the day or two leading up to your park visit. Having said that, show times tend to be pretty consistent. The show times we are currently seeing through September 30 are a good indication of what we can expect in October as well.
During your visit, I highly recommend taking advantage of the offerings at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Disney Parks Blog released a
Foodie Guide highlighting all of the menu options at the Global Marketplaces throughout the park. I like to have a look at these before our trips so that we can plan which eats and sips we want to try during our visits.
