If there is no time listed for the happily ever after show, does that mean there is no show for that day? I’m particularly looking at September 2, 2019

    Hi Kimberly!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner and I'm happy to help you get ready for your trip. You are visiting at a fantastic time because Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is opening at Disney's Hollywood Studios on August 29, so you will be able to travel to a galaxy far, far away to visit Black Spire Outpost during your vacation! Be sure to download the Play Disney Parks mobile app so you can interact with this new land during your visit.

Happily Ever After is a perfect way to end a day at Magic Kingdom! If there is no time listed on the Happily Ever After webpage, then that could indicate that the show will not be showing that evening or that the show has not yet been scheduled. While scheduled fireworks shows are always subject to cancellation due to weather, generally, you will find that Happily Ever After is shown nightly, except when the theme park closes early to accommodate special events.

I took a look at the Park Hours Calendar for September 2, 2019, and that's an evening where Magic Kingdom will host Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. On select evenings in the fall, Magic Kingdom closes early to host this incredible Halloween celebration, that includes trick-or-treating, Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade and Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular, a brand-new fireworks show that will be debuting at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year!

So Happily Ever After will not be showing on September 2, 2019, because Magic Kingdom will be closing at 6:00 p.m. on that evening to host Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which begins at 7:00 p.m. If you will be enjoying the Halloween party that evening, then you will be able to enjoy the special Halloween fireworks during the party. Otherwise, there are many locations to view the fireworks from the Disney Resort hotels around the Magic Kingdom area. I think the best view of the fireworks from outside of the theme parks is from California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. I also love to view the fireworks from the dock of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort!

Let us know if we can help you with your vacation plans as your trip continues to approach. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
