I can tell that you’re a musical theater lover like me. Over the years, the Hyperion Theater in
Hollywood Land has hosted some adorable mini-musicals. I'll never forget the excitement when
Frozen – Live at the Hyperion premiered years ago. When I took my Prince Charming to see it, he was blown away by the set design and effects. It really helped him understand why I love musical theater so much.
Sadly, there hasn't been an active show for a while. But I have some fantastic news for you, Sierra!
Rogers: The Musical will be premiering at the Hyperion Theater on June 30th this year! When my Mr. Incredible and I were watching on Disney+ last year, I got super hyped when I saw that musical scene in episode one of
Hawkeye on Disney+ last year. And I couldn’t have been the only one because now that short scene is being expanded into a full-length musical this summer. I'm thrilled to enjoy it with my
hunny.
If you find yourself at Disney’s California Adventure before the show’s opening, Sierra, you absolutely have to visit
Mickey’s PhilharMagic at Sunset Showcase Theater, just down the road from the
Hyperion Theater. It's a delightful 4D experience featuring Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, and scenes from classic Disney animated films. It's so enchanting that my little Mouseketeer can't get enough of it.
