Welcome Priscilla!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your questions. Your toddlers are going to have such an amazing time at the Disneyland Resort. I think they are the perfect ages to really start understanding and appreciating the many pixie-dusted experiences of a Disney vacation. We took my son throughout his toddlerhood, and he loved interacting with Characters, feeling his first thrills on attractions, and trying so many delicious Disneyland Resort treats.
I am happy to inform you that you will not need to purchase a park ticket for either of your children until they are three years old. It looks like you picked a great time to visit and save some money! You will not not need to show proof of their age at the park entrances. Just let the Cast Members know their ages when you enter the parks.
One thing I love about the Disneyland Resort is that you are allowed to bring
outside food and beverages with some limitations. Just check the
Park Rules before you visit to confirm what is not allowed. We often take some small snacks or juice for my son as he sometimes gets hungry while we are in an attraction line. It's nice to have these on hand so he doesn't get cranky.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to return.
Wishing you a magical day!
