    There are no reservations available for Disneyland fir Thursday October 20. What is the best way to take the place of a cancelling guest? Should I go to the ticket kiosk at the park and see if someone cancels so I can get in?

    Hey there, April! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney for help. 

    April, the Cast Members at the main entrance ticket booth are accessing the same, central reservation system that we access from home, so I would keep checking frequently as you are correct that if another Guest cancels a reservation, it is released back into the system for someone else to grab! I have noticed that especially within one to two days of my visit, reservations can become available. I can see October 20 available now, but it may change very quickly. Just keep refreshing the calendar and hopefully you will get lucky! You can also check at the main entrance when you arrive, but just know that you can also be checking from home and accessing the same reservation calendar.
