Hey there, Amanda, and welcome back to planDisney! I’m excited to answer your question because I have some good news to share! Disney seems to have thought of everything in ensuring that Guests have a truly memorable time on their Disney Vacation. Even if you choose to not get MagicBands for your party, you’ll still be able to link your photos back to the Memory Maker in your
My Disney Experience App.
Amanda, you can link your ride photos - and other PhotoPass images- to your My Disney Experience Account by using
Disney’s MagicMobile Service or
physical Theme Park Ticket cards.
Amanda, you can easily create MagicMobile Passes for your party in your My Disney Experience app. Disney’s Magic Mobile Service is a convenient and contactless option to access many MagicBand features right from your phone or Apple Watch. Since you’ll already be using your app to plan out your Theme Park Day with
Disney’s Genie Service, having your passes right in the app is extremely efficient! As you leave the attraction and see your picture, just tap your phone - with your MagicMobile pass on it - to the sensor, and the photo will show in your app.
If you prefer to have a low-tech option, you can visit a Theme Park Window or the Disney Ticket Center in
Disney Springs to obtain physical ticket cards. These ticket cards will give you all of the powers of the MagicMobile Pass mentioned above.
PG Pro Tip: Since you’ll be using your phone often during your park days, I recommend packing a portable battery charger. My portable charger has become the most important accessory on my most recent park visits.
I hope I’ve answered your question, Amanda! If you have more questions while you plan,
come back by and ask me.
Until Next Time,
PG
