Hey, Denise and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I know you are sad about the departure of Sammy Duvall’s Watersports Centre parasailing back in August 2018 but cheer up. Like Peter Pan says, "Now, think of the happiest things. It's the same as having wings." There are plenty of ways to fly at Walt Disney World Resort.
The first way to enjoy the sky is on theme park attractions such as Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, TriceraTop Spin and
Soarin' Around the World. Next, you can head to
Disney Springs and float 400 feet in the air on
Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight catching beautiful views of Lake Buena Vista. But flying adventures are not the only substitute for the aerial delights of parasailing from years past.
You can still have 20,000 leagues of fun on the water. What about a tour in a
vintage Amphicar or charging across the water on a
Sea Raycer by Sea Ray® or even watch the fish jump as you reel 'em in during your
fishing tour. With all these amazing options, take Dumbo's advice," Don't just fly, soar."
Disney Dad Tip: Many recreation activities at Walt Disney World Resort may be reserved 180 in advance.
Denise, I hope you find another magical experience to help you fly.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
